Kung fu-tse
The tribal people of the Mountain Province, known by their generic
name as the Igorots, live a simple natural life and are deep in wisdom and
folklore and still practise their shamanistic rites and healing practices with

weaving, and they produce colourful and functional hand-woven cloths which are
made up into garments and tablecloths, bags, wall hangings and other items
which they sell to travellers and passing tourists. I made three trips into the
Mountain Province, visiting Sagada, Bontoc and Banaue, where the Ifugao tribe
live. ...........................
